Spotsylvania Towne Centre

Embrace the nostalgia! If you want a your kids to have a moment with the Jolly Ole’ St.Nick of your childhood, it doesn’t get better than the mall. Santa settles on in for a long Christmas photo -op at Spotsylvania Towne Centre, November 9 – December 24. Here are a few tips to make the most of your time in the big green chair:

  • Don’t expect perfection. The best pics are the candid ones anyway.
  • Consider your child’s internal clock. Do you best to plan pictures with their nap-time, meals, and bedtime in mind. Being tired and hangry is no fun!
  • Brings snacks and take a potty break. Don’t forget the snacks for you too!
  • Keep the vibe lighthearted and fun. Try to hype it up a bit and get the kids excited.

Magical beings need breaks, too. Santa’s will be as follows:

Monday – Saturday: 2pm – 2:45pm and 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Sunday: 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Visit Santa on the farm

Santa will be at Braehead Farm! Braehead really has queuing down to a science. You receive a number right when you check in, which means no waiting in line! The kids are free to play until your number is shown on a screen in front of The Red Shed. For obvious reasons, we recommend avoiding the giant dirt pile before pictures. Afterward make Snowman Soup, or grab a snowman marshmallow and it roast over the fire pits.
