Fredericksburg Region’s pumpkin patches and farms are continuing their annual tradition of fall fun! Although the festivities may be toned down a bit to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy, there is still plenty of ways to celebrate fall.

Belvedere Plantation – Fall Harvest Festival is open September 13 – November 8, 2020. While the Maize Maze and Pumpkin Patch are primary attractions at Belvedere Plantation there are 30+ activities and events to make your visit really exciting – Wagon ride to Pumpkin Patch for picking (pumpkins extra), Maize Maze, Fun Barn, Zippitydoo, Olde Barnyard, Swine Speedway, Pumpkin Mountain Slide, Jumping Pillow, Barrel Train, Pedal Tractors,  Straw Jump, Trike Track, and Candy Cannon Show. Open to the public weekends and weekdays, closed Mondays. Online reservations (time blocks) are required. No tickets will be sold at the farm. Also, the farm is cashless this year. Braehead Farm – The last remaining working farm within the city limits of Fredericksburg. Braehead Farm is just a couple minutes’ drive from the historic downtown. Braehead Farm Fall Festival weekends begin on Saturday, September 26 and go through Sunday, October 25, 2020. Hours are 9am to 6pm. Pre-purchased tickets are required. Farm fun includes – hayrides, corn maze, an interactive game within the corn maze, a sunflower maze, photo ops, family playgrounds, and farm animals. Enjoy lunch from the Braehead Farm Kitchen or bring your own food. Concessions with Kettle Korn, dairy fresh ice cream, and more! You do not have to attend the Fall Festival to pick pumpkins, shop in the market or have lunch and picnic!  Front PICK YOUR OWN fields DO NOT require a preticket.  These fields are open everyday from 9am-6pm for picking produce/pumpkins.  There is never an admission in the PYO fields, you just pay for what you pick.  Pumpkins are sold at .70 cents per pound.  You must social distance in the fields. Miller Farms – Corn maze opens on Saturday, September 19. Pumpkins available for purchase at $0.75/lb. Cornstalks, straw bales, pumpkins, mini pumpkins, and ornamental pumpkins for your decorating needs. A full market on-site that has farm fresh meats, veggies and sweet goodies!
