St. George’s Episcopal Church
Step inside the church and discover the beauty of a 19th century example of Romanesque Revival Architecture with an ancient basilica layout. During the 20th century, its plain white windows were replaced with the magnificent stained glass you see today, including three Tiffany windowns. The building was extensively restored and renovated in 2009, and the Parsons organ was added in 2010. The parish will celebrate its 300th anniversary in 2020.
Docents are available Monday through Saturday from May 1 through Labor Day. Group tours can be arranged with advance notice.
