DESCRIPTION
Email us at [email protected] to register for this Black history month presentation by the awesome Cornelius Blanding, Executive Director of the Federation of Southern Cooperatives. The Federation, which grew directly out of the civil rights movement more than 50 years ago, is a non-profit cooperative association of black farmers, landowners, and cooperatives. The mission areas of the Federation include: to develop cooperatives and credit unions as a means for people to enhance the quality of their lives and communities; to save, protect and expand land ownership by black family farmers; and to advocate policies that benefit Black and other family farmers and low-income rural communities.
