Scarecrows & Bats at Fred Nats

This family-friendly event is limited to the first 1000 people counting adults and children. Masks and social distancing are required inside the stadium. The City’s Parks, Recreation & Events created an I Spy game that families can do from their seats in the field. Physical distancing protocols for photo opportunities with Gus, Mary & George, the Fred Nats’s mascots, the City’s Parks, Recreation & Events’s Shark, and Pouches, Fred Parent and Family Magazine’s mascot will be in place.
The Rappahannock Fredericksburg Rotary will be given out treat bags for the first 600 children.
Costumes and blankets are encouraged. “It’s a Great Pumpkin, Charley Brown”, will start at 7pm. Concessions will be open and only accept credit cards. Plan accordingly. Seating will be in the field on 7.5 feet increments on the dark green lines and options for some stadium seating. Outside food, drinks, and coolers are not allowed. Scarecrow and Bats at Fred Nats is free, however, there is $5 per car parking fee.
